What’s actually free?

Every connector has a free tier that never expires. In total, 8,739 tools across 71 connectors and the built-in platform tool set are free for life. You can use read-only and basic write tools on any platform without ever paying.

How is my team billed — per user?

No. StackJack bills per connector, not per seat. A Pro subscription to HaloPSA covers your whole team with per-user OAuth PKCE authentication and custom tool restrictions per teammate. Business tier adds 10x volume (50K calls/mo) — the tool set is identical to Pro.

Does StackJack store any of my MSP data?

No. We’re a proxy — business data flows through and is never persisted, cached, or indexed. We log metadata (who called what tool, when, duration, result) for your audit trail, but never the payload. Credentials live in a dedicated secrets vault encrypted at rest.

Which AI clients work with StackJack?

Anything that speaks MCP: Claude Desktop, Cursor, Continue, and custom agents using the Anthropic SDK or any MCP-compatible runtime. Add mcp.stackjack.io as a remote server and sign in with OAuth PKCE.

How are Automations billed differently?

Automations are free to create for any StackJack user. You only pay for execution via credit packs — $5 to $200, never expire. Credits reserve before a run and refund the difference after. Enterprise can BYOK their own Anthropic key and skip credits entirely.

What if I need a connector that isn’t listed?

We ship connectors regularly. If you’re an app builder or vendor embedding StackJack, Enterprise plans include custom tool development. Contact us with your stack.
