At MSP Automator Labs, LLC DBA StackJack.io (“Company”), we believe in being upfront about everything — including how refunds work for our Software as a Service (SaaS) products. We know refund policies can be confusing, so we want you to understand exactly how ours works, what your rights are, and why we structured things the way we did.
Here’s the thing: every single StackJack connector includes a free plan. No credit card required, no time limit, no bait-and-switch. The free tier gives you real access to real tools so you can kick the tires, verify compatibility with your environment, and make an informed decision before you ever spend a dime. Our general policy is that if you’ve moved past the free plan and subscribed to a paid tier, you did so with full knowledge of what you were getting. That said, there are important exceptions and statutory rights that may apply depending on your region, and we respect every one of them.
All StackJack purchases are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. This means that when you purchase a StackJack subscription, your transaction is legally between you and Paddle, and Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern all refund and withdrawal rights.
In the event of any conflict between this page and Paddle’s Buyer Terms or Refund Policy, Paddle’s terms will prevail. The policy on this page describes our general approach and philosophy. Paddle’s terms describe your legal rights.
Depending on where you live, you may have statutory rights to withdraw from a transaction and receive a full refund, regardless of our general policy. These rights are non-waivable and we fully respect them. The following regional rights apply as governed by Paddle’s Refund Policy:
Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund. This applies to one-off purchases and the first payment under a subscription. The right to withdraw does not apply if you have started downloading, streaming, or using the product and gave express consent to waive your withdrawal rights during the transaction. For UK annual subscriptions, a new 14-day withdrawal window opens on each annual auto-renewal.
Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from digital content and service contracts and receive a full refund.
Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or services after delivery and receive a full refund.
Consumers have a 5-day unconditional right to cancel digital content or services after first access and receive a full refund.
Paddle may issue refunds on a discretionary basis for requests submitted within 14 days of your transaction date. Additionally, if you experience a persistent technical issue or material defect that prevents you from accessing the product as described, you may be entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection law. Contact Paddle support at paddle.net to submit any refund request.
If local consumer protection laws or Paddle’s policies provide you with additional or non-waivable rights beyond what is described here, the highest level of rights will always apply. Nothing on this page limits your mandatory consumer rights.
Because Paddle processes all StackJack transactions, refund requests are handled directly through Paddle’s buyer support:
For product-specific issues, we recommend contacting us at ceej@stackjack.io first so we can try to resolve the problem directly. If we can’t resolve it, contact Paddle support with details of the issue and any response from us.
Unlike physical products that can be returned to a shelf, SaaS subscriptions provide immediate access to our entire platform, infrastructure, and intellectual property. The moment you subscribe, you gain full access to MCP connector tools we’ve spent years developing, servers we maintain 24/7, and support from our dedicated team. We can’t “take back” the value you’ve already received any more than a gym can take back the workout you just completed. And unlike most SaaS companies, we gave you a completely free plan to evaluate all of this before you ever entered your payment details.
By not proactively offering refunds beyond what’s legally required, we avoid the hidden costs that companies with liberal refund policies must build into their pricing. Those “risk-free trials” you see elsewhere? They’re not free — they’re subsidized by all the customers who don’t request refunds. We took a different approach: instead of inflating our prices to cover refund overhead, we gave you a permanently free plan to evaluate the product on your own terms, at your own pace. Our paid prices stay honest and fair because we don’t have to bake refund losses into them.
This approach pushes us to be better. When we can’t rely on refunds as a safety net, we have to ensure our product documentation is comprehensive, our tool descriptions are crystal clear, and our team is honest about what we can and can’t do. We earn your trust before you pay, not after.
We give you a free plan on every connector. No credit card, no time limit, no strings. The free tier includes real tools hitting your real environment — it’s not a crippled demo, it’s a genuine evaluation path. Use it to verify compatibility, test your workflows, and confirm that StackJack does what you need it to do. If you then choose to subscribe to a paid plan, you’re doing so as an informed customer who has already validated the product. This is the reason we don’t go beyond statutory refund requirements — you had every opportunity to know exactly what you were buying.
By subscribing to our services, you acknowledge and agree that:
We encourage you to take full advantage of our pre-purchase resources — especially the free plan:
No credit card required. No time limit. Real tools, real API calls, real results against your actual environment. This is your trial period — use it before you buy.
You can cancel your subscription at any time with no questions asked. No exit interviews, no guilt trips, no “retention specialists” trying to change your mind. If you want out, you’re out.
You can cancel through the Paddle buyer portal accessible via the link in your subscription confirmation email, or by visiting paddle.net.
The Company reserves the right to modify this refund policy when necessary. Any changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website, but we commit to:
Emailing all active subscribers about significant policy changes, highlighting modifications in our platform notifications, and maintaining a public changelog of policy updates.
While legal requirements may sometimes force immediate changes, we strive to grandfather existing customers under their original terms whenever feasible.
Continued use of our services after policy changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with any modifications, you maintain the right to cancel your subscription before the changes affect you.
Here’s something we need to discuss that many SaaS companies conveniently forget to mention: integration complexity. Our MCP connectors are designed to work seamlessly with properly configured PSA and RMM platforms like HaloPSA, Autotask PSA, and NinjaRMM. The keyword here is “properly configured.”
In our years of experience, we’ve seen it all: self-implemented instances held together with digital duct tape and prayers, configurations so far from baseline that they’d make the original developers weep, and “creative” workarounds that seemed like good ideas at the time but now prevent standard integrations. We’ve encountered environments that would require dozens of consulting hours just to return them to a state where our connectors could function. That’s not hyperbole — that’s Tuesday in the MSP world.
By subscribing to StackJack products, you explicitly acknowledge and accept that:
A baseline configuration means standard data structures that haven’t been completely reimagined, workflows that follow the platform’s intended design patterns, API access that hasn’t been restricted to the point of uselessness, and basic best practices that any certified implementer would follow. This is exactly why the free plan exists — connect your environment, run the free tier tools, and confirm everything works before you pay for anything.
If your PSA or RMM is in rough shape, all is not lost. We recommend the team at TechPulse Professional Services — they’re one of the original HaloPSA authorized implementation partners and can rehabilitate even the most wayward instances. Their consultants have seen configurations that would make horror movie directors jealous, and they’ve lived to tell the tale. However, any remediation work you engage them (or anyone else) for is billable at their standard rates, completely separate from your StackJack subscription, required to be completed before our connectors will function properly, and not covered by any refund policy regardless of the outcome.
We’re not trying to be difficult. We’re being honest about a reality that our competitors often hide until after you’ve paid. Your PSA/RMM environment is the foundation our connectors build upon. If that foundation is crumbling, no amount of sophisticated MCP tooling will make it stable.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MSP Automator Labs, LLC DBA StackJack.io will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from our refund policy implementation. This includes but is not limited to financial losses from unused subscription time, opportunity costs from selecting our service, consequential damages from policy enforcement, and emotional distress from refund denial. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
We’re upfront about our approach so you can make an informed decision. We mitigate risk by providing a free plan on every connector — no credit card, no time limit — so you can fully validate the product before spending a cent.
This refund policy complies with all applicable laws and regulations in jurisdictions where MSP Automator Labs, LLC operates. In the event of any conflict between this policy and applicable law, legal requirements will prevail.
All transactions are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern all transactions and take precedence over this page in all cases.
We fully respect all statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived. This policy does not affect any legal rights you may have under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. If local laws or Paddle’s policies provide greater protections than described here, the highest level of rights will always apply.
Our approach to refunds isn’t about being difficult or grabbing your money and running. It’s about creating a sustainable business model that allows us to offer competitive pricing without hidden refund costs, invest fully in product development rather than refund processing, maintain a lean operation that passes savings to you, and focus on preventing dissatisfaction rather than managing it after the fact.
We believe in earning your business through excellence, not trapping you with fine print. This policy ensures we stay motivated to deliver value every single day, not just during a trial period. And where the law provides you with refund or withdrawal rights, we respect those fully.
We’re confident in our service and transparent about our terms. If you’re ready to join us under these conditions, we’re excited to have you aboard. If not, we respect that too — and we’ll be here if you change your mind in the future.
If you have any doubts or questions about this policy, please reach out before purchasing. We’d rather lose a sale than gain an unhappy customer.
